Rant #3: Lip Piercings
I’m so glad I’m not 17 and trying to date right now. Every girl has a lip piercing now. I don’t understand, it looks terrible on everyone.
It’s an epidemic. I don’t think you’re allowed to be on MTV anymore if you don’t have one. All four teen moms had one, coincidence?
If you have one or you think it looks good please explain yourself. In fact I challenge you to show me one that doesn’t make the person look worse. Oh, and way to show your individuality by all getting the same thing.
Closed minded fool, none of these females got lip piercings to impress you.
That doesn’t mean it doesn’t look terrible.
Oh please, you can hardly notice them…its not like its some giant flesh plug or some hideous back piercing. These girls are beautiful with or without the piercing…in fact every girl is beautiful piercing or not.

I’m 14, I have 4 lip piercings and I’m not pregnant or MTV. Just because YOU don’t think piercings look nice doesn’t mean they don’t. It just means its not what YOU find attractive. I could easily say that everyone who dresses like you looks disgusting and tell you to “explain yourself.

I didn’t say all girls who have them are whores. I used Teen Mom as an example because they are all in that age group and all have the piercing. You having one at 14 just reinforces my point. Yes, this is my rant and it’s what I don’t find attractive. I think they look terrible and I think too many people have them. It’s like when everyone got a tramp stamp ten years ago. That girl in the picture is very attractive, but would look much better without the piercing.

I actually agree on that, but a lot of retarded girls don’t. So in other words, if you do or don’t like piercings, its still just an opinion. You can’t determine who’s opinion is more logical.

You’re obsession with trying to force your opinion on this guy is laughable. I am 21. I have one lip piercing among many others on my body and several tattoos, and I got no beef with this guy. Lip piercings aint his thing. Having so many piercings at 14 is incredibly unintelligent. You aren’t really old enough to be making body modification decisions and being so young with them all just makes the mod community laugh at you.

maybe that girl was trying to detract attention from her abnormally large boobs and have people look at her face. poor, big-boobed girls.
I’m getting one, and not because it’s a fad or whatever. I’ve wanted one for about ten years. I’ve convinced myself not to get one several times. But I like the way it makes my face look. It’s a psychological weakness: I would rather people focus on the piercing than my face. However, I think it makes me look beautiful, and isn’t that important too?
It’s important for you to feel good about yourself, but couldn’t you get some earrings for people to focus on? There is no way a piercing in the middle of your face will be an improvement.
